This blog was originally started to keep family & friends updated on Christel's condition. Learning to live our life with out Christel here on earth has been a roller coaster of emotions for our whole family. I decided to start posting again on this site because I do not want to forget I am and will always be Christel Joy's big sister and my joy and hope can only be found in the Lord.

Home Free!


Dear Friends & Family,
There are not words to express how blessed our family has been by all the prayer, love, & support that has been given to us. Christel will be going home to be with Jesus soon. I think it is very fitting that she came into our lives around this time 19 years ago and now she will be leaving around the same time. I am forever changed having been loved by her. We know that God has our days numbered here on earth and that this is Christel's time to go home. Do not think your prayers have not been answered. They have!
We will be having a celebration of life ceremony sometime next week in the evening. We will be saying our final goodbyes today. Thank you again.
