Christ is all Joy!!!

This blog was originally started to keep family & friends updated on Christel's condition. Learning to live our life with out Christel here on earth has been a roller coaster of emotions for our whole family. I decided to start posting again on this site because I do not want to forget I am and will always be Christel Joy's big sister and my joy and hope can only be found in the Lord.

Mother- A woman who conceives, gives birth to, or raises and nurtures a child.

Adopt- To choose or take as one’s own.

George Campbell

It has been a year today that George Campbell went home to be with Jesus. George was Grandpa to Jacob, Maddy, Emma and Dad to Lori & Tim Budz. I got to know George because of my friendship with Lori. George was the only person I ever watched a Super Bowl game with. Playing the quarter game was great incentive. LOL! One of my favorite memories of George is at a 4th of July party I had received a call from my mom to let me know that Christel was having a Grand mal seizure and that they were taking her to the ER. I shared with everyone what was going on we began to pray for Christel. After several people had prayed George broke into song singing:

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.
I have seen Him in the watch fires of a hundred circling camps
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps;
His day is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His day is marching on.
I have read a fiery Gospel writ in burnished rows of steel;
“As ye deal with My contemners, so with you My grace shall deal”;
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with His heel,
Since God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Since God is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet;
Our God is marching on
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me:
As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free;[originally …let us die to make men free]
While God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! While God is marching on.

He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave,
He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave;
So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of wrong His slave,
Our God is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.

That was so awesome. It really touched my heart. My prayers are with you Lori, Tim, Jacob, Maddy, and Emma as you take this time to remember your Dad/Grandpa. He went to be with Jesus 5 days after Christel. I like to think the two of them are up there whistling and singing their worship songs to Jesus together.
