Christ is all Joy!!!

This blog was originally started to keep family & friends updated on Christel's condition. Learning to live our life with out Christel here on earth has been a roller coaster of emotions for our whole family. I decided to start posting again on this site because I do not want to forget I am and will always be Christel Joy's big sister and my joy and hope can only be found in the Lord.

Mother- A woman who conceives, gives birth to, or raises and nurtures a child.

Adopt- To choose or take as one’s own.

Night Update

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support. The Doctor has told us that Christel's kidneys are failing. This means her body is starting to shut down. She is not going to be with us much longer. Your prayers and love have and continue to be felt by the whole family. Thank you to all who have shared with us how much Christel means to you. She has many friends. We asked God for a complete healing or for Him to take her home to be with Him. So we believe God has answered our prayers. Thank you again to everyone. I will continue to try and keep people updated through this time.

Because your love is better that life, my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift my hands.
I my soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my
mouth will praise you.
Psalm 63:3-5

I truly believe this is what Christel has done with her whole life!

Have been lifting your family up in prayer, asking for His incredible peace and comfort.
2 Cor 5:4 has come alive for me during this season of grief. Maybe it will for you, too. "Our dying bodies make us groan and sigh, but it's not that we want to die and have no bodies at all. We want to slip into our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by everylasting life." NIV puts it this way..."so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life." Our departing loved ones are being swallowed up by life!!!!! And God Himself has prepared us for this very purpose (verse 5).... With love and prayers that the God of all Comfort will carry you through this dark and painful season. Denise Hull
