This blog was originally started to keep family & friends updated on Christel's condition. Learning to live our life with out Christel here on earth has been a roller coaster of emotions for our whole family. I decided to start posting again on this site because I do not want to forget I am and will always be Christel Joy's big sister and my joy and hope can only be found in the Lord.

It's a bird...No it's a plane...No it's Superman!

My friend Lori messaged me one day to let me know about some famous people who I forgot were also adopted.  With three boys who are adopted (the fourth one being adopted today) of course I am talking about Superheroes!  
Some of them I had I known about... 
...and some I did not know their family story.  


As we are heading to the courthouse this morning I am also reminded of a couple other adoption stories.  In the bible are the adoption stories of Moses, Esther, & Jesus.  But I am also reminded about the most amazing gift of adoption in 
Ephesians 1:4-5
God choose us to belong to Christ before the world...So he decided long ago to adopt us as his children...
Wow adoption has always been part of God's plan from the very begining!  Very cool!  So we are off to the courthouse today to add our story to the other amazing adoption stories.  Here is a list of some more famous people who are adopted.
